Gain CX & Customer Insights from 30 Experts in 30 Days

By Paul Laughlin

When autumn leaves start falling off the trees, it turns time for conference season, both in politics & business.

During this time each year, I recommend analytics & insight related events to consider attending.

For some of these Customer Insight Leader has negotiated discounts that we can pass on to our subscribers.

After enjoying the face to face interaction of meeting with data science students, start-ups & innovators – I had the opportunity to participate in a virtual event. Leah Berry organised an impressive line-up of Customer Experience, Customer Insight, Marketing & Leadership experts to participate in her event. Called “30 Experts in 30 Days“, it provides free online content for readers to hear about the main topics of concern to each leader & how they have learnt  some of their key lessons.

As well as a recorded video interview, with each expert, (here’s mine)…

Other resources provided to each expert (to share with their audience) include:

Plus, an audio file, so you can listen like a podcast instead:

Plus, again, a short infographic summarising those top tips:

Thanks must go to Leah for providing all those resources from 1 interview.

It’s encouraging to see a fellow blogger having managed to pull together such a line up & provide such valuable content for free. I encourage readers to have a look at the line-up. I can personally vouch for the benefit of hearing:

Each one really knows their stuff and are great people to work with as well.

My contribution was, of course, focussed on Customer Insight. We discussed a number of themes that have emerged from client work this year. These include the softer skills needed by analysts, using customer insight to help with conduct risk & how to engage your employees. Leah’s questions were insightful (excuse the pun) and useful to help draw out a number of lessons I’ve learnt along the way.

Don’t forget that action worksheet to get most value out of watching the video: Paul-Laughlin-Action-Worksheet-30-Experts-in-30-Days

I hope you find that useful. Do let us know if you’ve attended or spoken at customer insight events that have been useful. Any resources to share with fellow leaders?
